Beauty review: Gisou Honey infused oil

Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil

Since my hair can be very dry at times I love trying new hairproducts, especially hair oils. In the past some have worked better than others for me.

So when blogger and Instagram influencer Negin Mirsalehi decided to create a hair oil using honey I knew I had to try it some day.

Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil is a so called bee based hair product with its main ingredient being honey. Honey Infused Hair Oil is an exclusive hair oil enriched with honey from the Mirsalehi bee garden, formulated to rebuild and repair your hair from the core. Honey is know for being a source of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, honey also maintains the hair’s natural moisture balance.

What’s it for?

Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil has various applications. Use daily as a pre-styler and finisher, add a few drops to your hair mask, or leave in as an overnight treatment.

Key Ingredients: Mirsalehi Honey, Almond Oil, Coconut Oil. Does not contain sulfates, parabens. Cruelty-free.

My verdict

I love the beautiful packaging and the simple bottle. The pipette used to dispense the oil however does not work perfectly as it does not extract the oil very well. A minor detail because you only need a small amount to treat you hair.

You can use it on wet and dry hair, I however prefer to use it after blowdrying to give my hair shine and body.

I just love this formula as it leaves my hair glossy and with a great smell. Most of all it styles my hair as well and it’s safe to say I haven’t had a bad hairday since!

I do find the price quite high but a little bit of the oil goes a long way!

I just hope I won’t be followed by a swarm bees….bzzzzzzzz!
